Teaching the Teachers - F2F
The sessions will be held at Keele campus (David Weatherall building)
These sessions are free for any clinicians who have contact with Keele University students.

Target Audience:
The medical teaching course is suitable for all qualified clinical and academic staff. It is specifically designed for those who teach Keele University Medical, Physician Associate and Paramedical students.
Course structure:
A series of tutorials, interactive exercises, workshops and practical sessions designed to develop a range of teaching skills and improve teaching confidence.
Aims:
To equip clinicians with the educational concepts, knowledge and techniques that are needed to design, plan, deliver and evaluate effective clinical teaching sessions.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the course participants should be able to:
Develop the key elements of adult education theory
Develop and write structured learning outcomes for teaching
Adapt your teaching to different learning styles
Apply different teaching styles techniques effectively
Deliver effective presentations, lectures and small group sessions
Integrate teaching into clinical practice
Provide effective feedback
Teach clinical skills
Discuss how to facilitate online teaching and overcome some challenges of distance learning
Booking: Teaching the Teachers is a two-day course; to complete the course and receive certification, you must attend both Day 1 and Day 2 paired sessions.
