Shropshire Sessional GP Network (SSGPN)

SSGPN is a group for GPs that are partaking in or looking for locum work. It is open to registrars through to GPs nearing the end of their career looking for full-time or adhoc work, salaried GPs are also welcome or any GP looking for locum work!
​
The network aims to connect the GPs on the list with the local GP surgeries, historically in Shropshire, but with the decline in GP work also some cross-border practices. These opportunities can be short notice or longer-term cover.
​
The network is also here to help deliver the mandatory training required for GPs that can sometimes be hard to obtain as a locum, along with regular meetings to discuss any concerns, problems or for general trouble shooting.

FREE DBS Check

Lantum are offering free DBS checks to any new GP signing up to the platform.
To receive your free DBS check and start booking sessions through Lantum, you need to take the following steps:

Complete your application consent form and return it to Lantum

Fill out your online application on the Disclosure Services website

Book and complete an ID check with the Lantum Team.
Lantum submits and pays for your DBS application on your behalf, so you can sit back and wait for your certificate, upload it to your Lantum profile and, once approved, book into sessions with your favourite Practices!
